Kanha

Bandhavgarh
National Park, 165 km from Jabalpur, is one place where the tiger
can be seen in its natural habitat. Stretching over 448 sq km, it is compact
yet full of wildlife, with the highest tiger density in India. This is also
white tiger country, which has been spotted in the old state of Rewa for many
years. It is also rich in many other forms of wildlife and a variety of flora
and fauna. The great gaur or Indian bison, Sambar, barking deer, Nilgai, etc
are seen in the more open areas of the park. There are more than 22 species
of mammals and 250 species of birds. Common Langurs and rhesus macaque represent
the primate group. Mammals such as Dhole, the small Indian civet, palm squirrel

Corbett
- India's first national park and one of its finest. It is notable
not only for its rich and varied wildlife and birdlife but also for its scenic
charm and magnificent sub-montane and riverain views. The park comprises the
broad valley of Ramganga River backing onto the forest covered slopes of the
Himalayan foothills.
