Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Erco Travels presents the Rajasthan Tour with Varanasi & Khajuraho to give you the best tour experience of north India. Arrive in Delhi, where representatives from Erco Travels will receive you at the airport/railway station and assist you in transferring to the hotel. Rest of the day is free, so spend it as you please.

Day 02 : Delhi

Delhi is the first destination of this tour. The uniquely mixed culture and lifestyles of Delhi make it an amazing place to see. On one hand, you will find cultural and heritage thriving in Old Delhi and on the other hand, the rapidly developing and modernizing New Delhi. The main attractions to see on a Delhi day tour are Red Fort and Jama Masjid through the narrow roads of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. In New Delhi, you can visit the Indian Gate, Parliament of India and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 03 : Delhi - Udaipur (Fly)

Transfer to the airport after breakfast to fly to Udaipur, Rajasthan. Udaipur is the second destination of this tour and is a major tourist destination in Rajasthan. Arrive in Udaipur and Erco’s local representatives will guide you to the hotel. After refreshing, proceed for an evening tour of Udaipur. Take a boat ride in Lake Pichola to visit the Jag Mandir and Lake Palace on two islands respectively.

Day 04 : Udaipur

Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes. On a day tour, you can visit the Udaipur City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon-ki-Bari (royal garden) and Bagore-ki-Haveli. Get back to the hotel for resting and spending the night.

Day 05 : Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur ( 259 Kms / 5-6 Hrs)

Have an early-morning breakfast and then take a short excursion to Eklingji Temple and Nagda. Aterwards, take a 90 minutes drive to Ranakpur, which is known for its Jain Temple. Take a short tour of the temple and then proceed to Jodhpur (165 Km away). This journey will take around three hours. Arrive in Jodhpur and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free to explore the second-largest city of Rajasthan.

Day 06 : Jodhpur - Jaipur ( 330 Kms / 6-7 Hrs)

After having your breakfast, take a half-day tour through the city to see the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada (cremation ground of Jodhpur rulers). Then take a five-hour road-trip to your next destination of this tour, Jaipur. Arrive in Jaipur and proceed to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07 : Jaipur

The pink city and the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is a major cultural and tourist hub in Rajasthan. On a full-day sightseeing tour, you can see Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort that form the defensive ring around the city. Also, you can visit the Jaipur City Palace, Hawa Mahal or Palace of Wind, Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08 : Jaipur - Agra ( 232 Kms / 5-6 Hrs)

Agra is going to be your next stop on this tour. After having breakfast in the hotel, depart from Jaipur and proceed to Agra. You can visit Fatehpur Sikri, an old deserted Mughal town that lies just on the outskirts of Agra. Afterwards, proceed to Agra and transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Take an evening tour of Agra to see the most beautiful monument in the world, the Taj Mahal. Dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 09 : Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho ( Train / Drive - 185 Kms / 4-5 Hrs)

Visit Agra Fort in the morning after the breakfast. Then, proceed to the railway station to board a train to Jhansi (3 hour journey). After arriving at Jhasni railway station, local Erco Travels’ representatives will assist you in transferring to Khajuraho by surface. You can also visit Orchha, former capital of Bundela kingdom, which lies on the way to Khajuraho. Arrive in Khajuraho and proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 : Khajuraho - Varanasi (Fly)

Take a day tour of Khajuraho to see the world-famous Hindu and Jain temples that are listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The amazing sculptures and carvings of these temples will simply leave you awestruck. Proceed to the airport to board a flight to Varanasi. Arrive at the Varanasi airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 11 : Varanasi

Varanasi is said to be the oldest living city in this world and is an important religious place for Hindus. Begin the full-day tour of Varanasi by first taking an early-morning boat ride in the Ganges River. You can visit Vishwanath Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple and Durga Temple afterwards. Visit the ghats in the evening to see holy worship rituals and ceremonies.

Day 12 : Varanasi - Delhi (Train)

You can visit Sarnath (13 km away) in the morning, which is an important Buddhist place for pilgrimage. The main attractions in Sarnath are Dhamekh Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandhakuti Vihara and Sarnath Archeological Museum. Return to the hotel for lunch. Proceed to the railway station to board an overnight train back to Delhi.

Day 13 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi railway station early in the morning. You will be transferred to the hotel for resting. Delhi is the last stop of this tour, so spend the rest of the day in shopping and buying souvenirs for friends. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14 : Depart Delhi

Pack your luggage after breakfast to depart from Delhi. Transfer to the airport to board a connecting flight to your home country. Thank you and best wishes for the journey ahead.
